A dictionary of words and expressions used in Egypt by many of us has been compiled from an original document submitted by Joseph Jesua of Paris. Many former egyptian residents contributed these words. The dictionary can be found at Dico Franco-Egyptien. These words had different origins including: Arabic, French, Italian, Greek, Turkish, English & Hebrew but were mixed in French sentences and conversations. The document is a workbook with many tabs. Each tab shows a Spreadsheet of either words, expressions, letters, songs, poems etc. If you have corrections or additional words to suggest, please write to the webmaster. |
